Been a long week and now I'm coming down with some sort of nasty sickness that has settled down in my chest. Taking a break from CF Payne's piece to post a couple of things. I was hoping the nap I took after class today would have gotten it out of my system, but now I just feel worse and have a fever. Not cool. Don't think I'm going to get any amount of work done on Payne's piece tonight.

Final for Groff's class.

Dragon I found on my 'puter from back in august.

Thing for design for illustration. Was a six piece project. My prompt word was royalty. We had to do a design, the design + decoration, design + pattern, design + texture. Then the fifth step was all of them combined together. Last one was practical application so I did a band poster.

Thorn Bird

Pencils for professional practice. :)

Getting Somewhere

Needs some work but its getting somewhere.

Sketches

Texture play on the Foo Lion lineart

Took me 4 weeks but I finally got my laptop issues squared away. Turns out the harddrive went, even though the computer was only about three months old. I lost about 50 hours worth of illustration work but the majority of my work was safe/backed up.

Some of the files for Payne's class, with some of my favorite color variations.

dsn

I hadn't logged into blogspot in so long I forgot my password. ಠ_ಠ

Hmm. Dsn4illustration. 5 flat colors only. Jpg isn't opening for Ms Tam Peterson so I'm throwing this up here instead.

More octopi

Finals for Concepts&Styles.

Kind of frustrated with the balloon one. Don't feel its done. :|

Still can't chose between these two colors. Like 'em both.

Think I got two more ideas I want to do, then I'm calling it quits on the octopi.
Only two more classes and I am DONE with this semester. Can't wait for summer, New York Style Pizza and boardwalk Salt Water Taffy, but at the same time, I'm slightly sad this semester is done. I feel like I'm finally starting to get somewhere.

Finals For Elec Illust

Have mixed feelings about these. :\ But it was fun to have the time to experiment and not have to worry about messing up my grade.
Topic was money.

Derp :V

BlacknWhite book cover final (ihatedoingbookscovers)

Still not satisfied with how busy/cluttered the brain/waves area is lookin' but eh, I don't know what else to do. So I think I'm pretty much done otherwise, haven't written the synopsis though. I think I got everything, but knowing Kane, I prolly forgot something. D:

Gotta bang out the rest of Illustrative Drawing. Finals weeeeeeekkkkkk @_@

Finish?

I think I'm done with this. For now. Tired of messing around with it, but I think it works much better than what I had before.

So uhhh, randomly jumped on the macs and all of the contrast and color of my stuff looks blown out on them. Not sure if there's a way to circumvent this.

dragonnnnnn color study

huh, what, the bg keeps printing NEON green.

Color study comp thinger for concepts. So excited to work on the final. n.n

i think i want to make the dragon bigger.

Ugh bad day. Do not want. I'm off to watch scrubs reruns and draw octopi and ignore my illustrative drawing project. :3

Propaganda, WIP 2

2.5 more hrs. So, uh, five on the final so far? I did teaking on the lineart, but just placed it over my sketch so it won't look like I fixed things (like those awful hands) until I mask the parts of the sketch I don't need.

Plan on banging out the color this weekend. Still don't have a set color scheme yet, but its def going to covered in delicious textures when I'm done.

Propaganda

WIPs of my propaganda posters for Mckissick's class. So much nitpicking and fixing I need to do on these. Illustrator + Photoshop, baybee. :O

2.5 hrs in illustrator so far

Old stuff.

Wooooo

Pen & Ink ^

WIP of venice. Second time using painter, trying to get the hang of it. My computer does not like it one bit. >_>
Will probably finish this up tomorrow. I like how its coming along so far.
